On June 1, 2013, Marilyn Monroe would have turned 87. The Trevor Victor Harvey Gallery will launch a major landmark exhibition and sale of rare and never-before-seen in Australia original photographs of the legendary star. It will feature photographs from the personal collection of George Barris, the last photographer to take pictures of Marilyn before she died.
The show will tour us through the world’s most in depth collection of Marilyn Monroe photographs, spanning her entire career from the very first pictures taken of her in 1945, to the very last taken in 1962.
What a glorious opening night we had! Conchita’s works spanned the main gallery and gave the space a serene feeling. It was a buzz of chatter and admiration as people queued to talk to Conchita about what inspires her and her process. Thank you Conchita for a beautiful exhibition, we are proud to have it! -TVH Team
